Recent Creative Play…

Hey Creative Souls!

I thought this week I would share some of my recent creative play with you!

I love paisley I really wanted to learn how to draw them, but before they kept coming out like funky rain drops or something. I finally did get it though, I need more practice but I am really enjoying drawing these and playing around with the different ways to “embellish’ them.

A few recent visual Journal Pages:

Some of my recent Sunday Affirmation collage cards:

A few shadow play pictures!

What creative play/practice  have you been engaging in? Do you engage in creating on a regular basis?

Recent Creative Play -January 2012

Hey Creative Souls!

I thought I would share some of my recent creative play! I have been making creative play a more regular part of my life again, I was great about it for a while then sort of got distracted by other things.. I can feel a difference when I engage in creative play on a regular basis vs when I don’t.

Lots of visual journaling, I totally organized my creative space so happy about that. Will post on that soon!

Recent Creative Play.. DIY info included!

Hey Creative Souls! Recently I have been diving into some easy, fast fulfilling creative projects. So I thought I would share my results here and some links for you to find out more information if you are interested in giving them a try yourself!

-A super easy Infinity Scarf

I did one of the easiest creative projects recently. I found this great infinity scarf  project on  pinterest, if you click on there you will find the original source! Though I did not do all the steps yet, I was actually pretty happy the way it came out!

-Affirmation Card

I  shared in this post doing affirmation cards, this has become a Sunday practice for me, each week on Sunday evening I gather my creativity to go supplies and do an index affirmation collage card. I have found this creative spiritual practice very nourishing!  The above pictures are a few of my most recent ones!

-One of the Easiest Photo Displays ever!

I   have a cork-board above my litte creative nook in my apartment. I have had these photos via PostalPix (an iPhone app you can order right off of your phone) these are 4×4 photos. I didn’t even use push pins or anything, just stuck them right in the cork-board frame. It’s the easiest photo display ever! I am happy with the way it looks and it’s a fun way to display my photos!

Have you done any fun creative projects lately?
