I love this quote. For me it’s a reminder to really listen to those things that you love, to love what you love, to follow those tugs , those things that really interest you. Even if you don’t know if it “makes sense” or what it has to do with… or that it’s “not productive” I am encouraging you to follow those calls. Who knows where it might lead you to.. It might even lead you to yourself…

Inspired by Pinterest-Easy DIY’s to try

Hey Inspiring Souls!

It’s no secret I ADORE pinterest and I have found some great ideas, blogs, recipes and DIY ideas on there. Some are just collected to swoon over others are actions I want to take or things i want to reference. There is also my DIY Inspiration board that houses many a great DIY ideas and you know I actually get to them sometimes!

Here are a few that I was inspired by and my result of them!

And below my result. I have so much inspiration taking over the wall space I didn’t have a ton of room but this spot above my desk was perfect for some of my fave books to reference!

About a year and a half ago maybe more I painted my first canvas, it was a small one and I really liked it then. I was sort of ready to move on from it so I had it shoved in the closet until I could figure out what to do. Enter this pin for inspiration:  I have seen a few things like this idea taking old thrift store frames and doing this sort of thing to repurpose.

I may have shared this one before, but if not here it is! I have done this twice now it really is fairly easy and forgiving! Pin that inspired:

Hey Inspiring Souls!

It’s so easy for us to always see whats not done, where are not, what we think we or our lives are lacking. So every now and again I like to write down what I am wanting to celebrate, realizations, accomplish,what I am just feeling good about in my life.

I am encouraging you to do so this week. Nothing is too small to go on this list. It’s about celebrating, acknowledging  and noticing what you’re doing in your life.

Today I celebrate and acknowledge about myself and my life….

I will share a few of mine with you:

-I made the calls and did the research I needed for some things I don’t love dealing with

-I have released a good amount of physical stuff that I just don’t use

-I have been better about using “my tools” of shifting my mood from one of not so happy or anxiety to one of being purposeful and more peaceful

5 things Inspiring Me Right Now!

Hello Wonderful Souls!

As I may have mentioned once or a 100 times before is I am always seeking inspiration! And how much better is inspiration when you can share it with others!

Here are 5 things Inspiring me right now!

1- This video.. just imagaine if we could do this in our lives more.

2-This short and helpful article on how to eat real food without spending hours in the kitchen!

3-I am really in love with this song and her music in general and it doesn’t hurt that she is truly a wonderful Soul!

4-Always Inspired by Tama Kieves, seriously good stuff!

5-This book, I got it from  the Library (and have a stack of great books to dive into from there!) I am really enjoying this one- great food for thought a good mix of actions and examples.

Sometimes it can feel hard to believe that what we really want, also wants us to find it as well.. I am working on believing and living this more and more. I do think that when we are coming from a true Soul Space that this is a beautiful truth to hold onto and be guided by..

Savor the Season- Spring

Hello Wonderful Souls!

Spring is here (or just about) over this direction! While I usually  I am a much bigger fan of the Fall Season. I am ready for Spring and the clean slate it can bring more than ever this year!

Each each  I seek more and more to ways to savor season in all sorts of ways.

Ways to Savor Spring:

-Do a photo project capturing views of the season, like the beautiful blossoms that happen for such a short time or the progression of blooms that surround you.Or choose another creative project  that helps you document the beauty of the season (like drawing things of the season, noting the beautiful spring sounds etc)

-Go to your local Farmers Market and while there: Check out the fruits and veggies of the season (ask the vendors), Pick up some flowers to brighten your space.

-Plant something ( I am planning a mini succulent “garden” maybe just maybe something from a seed to grow as well)

-Get some fresh air

-Buy a little treat for yourself in a favorite spring inspired color! (this does not have to be pricey)

-Buy some fun cleaning supplies or a new green/eco cleaner to do your spring cleaning

-Choose at least 1 spot in your home or life to declutter and  Spring Clean (this can be your closet, a drawer, digital areas, letting go of shoulds, books, relationships etc)
