5 Questions to ask yourself when you are overwhelmed:

Each of us has gone through a time where we felt overwhelmed in life. Maybe it’s the clutter around you, maybe it’s the amount of things on your to do list and so on. It’s not a fun place to be, and the good thing is we don’t have to stay there. We can ( all be it slowly sometimes) shift our way out of it. The best way I think is to start by asking yourself some questions and allow yourself to answer truly honestly, not what you think you should be responding to.

1)      What am I overwhelmed about? Ok this seems obvious but so often we can’t mindfully  name the cause(s) of the overwhelm.

2)      Is this mine to carry, truly? We can get overwhelmed and stressed out by things that are not even ours. I am great at this 😀

3)      Is this an obligation or an opportunity?

4)      What do I need?

5)      What can I release or put aside to create some space for a deep breath and some clarity?

Deep breath, you’ve got this! It doesn’t all have to be figured out right now!
